Series 9
- The Butter Shave
- George is hired at Play Now because they think he is
handicapped. Jerry is worried that Bania is following on
his coattails in his act and lovelife. Elaine comes back
from a holiday in Europe with David Puddy arguing all the
way. Kramer begins using butter on his skin after
shaving, but ends up cooking and smelling delicious to
Newman.
- The Voice
- George is determined not to leave his job until his
contract is over despite what his boss throws at him.
Jerry is forced to choose between a comical voice and his
girlfriend. Elaine loses money on betting that she can
stay broken up from David Puddy. Kramer gets an intern
from NYU to help him out with Kramerica Industries.
- Kramerica Industries was first mentioned in Male Unbonding in
conjunction with Kramer's pizza idea.
- That Kramer's apartment may or may not contain a chicken
may be a reference to The
Little Jerry
- The Serenity Now
- Frank is supposed to say "serenity now" every
time his blood pressure is in danger of going up. Jerry's
girlfriend tries to get him to release his anger, but
once he starts it is too much, he even proposes to
Elaine. Kramer sets up a screen door outside his
apartment. George works with Lloyd Braum selling
computers for Frank, and is determined to sell more.
Elaine is concerned when Lippman and his son both kiss
her and learns she has "shiksappeal".
- The Blood
- Jerry's parents are concerned about his lack of exercise
so they send him a personal trainer. Elaine doesn't
understand why her friend won't let her babysit her
child. George gets turned on by food after he adds it to
his lovelife. Kramer withdraws his blood from the blood
bank.
- Jerry's trainer is Izzy Mandelbaun who Jerry put in the
hospital in The English
Patient
- When asked what he is doing George says "Pleasuring
you?", the same reply he used in The Fusilli Jerry
- The Junk Mail
- Jerry gets a van from a friend not a car like he
expected. Elaine falls for a man she remembers from TV.
Kramer gets deluged with Junk Mail and decides to cancel
his mail. George parents tried to cut him out of their
lives.

- The Merv Griffin Show
- Kramer finds the set of an old TV show and transplants it
into his apartment. Jerry drugs his girlfriend to play
with her toys. Elaine is sidled by a co-worker. George
accidently kills a pigeon, then hits a squirel.
- Jerry's apartment doesn't appear as in a few other
episodes.
- Frank and Estelle's voices are heard but they are not
credited
- The music played when George enters Kramer's set, ends
with his Kramer saying "Turn Music Off" similar
to his instruction to "Turn Tape Over" on his
tape for the Peterman Reality Tour in The Muffin Tops
- The Slicer
- Jerry is annoyed by a skin doctor who boasts of saving
lives. Elaine's neighbour's is away but her alarm is
still set. George gets a new job which he may lose
because he had a run in with his new boss in the past.
Kramer buys a meat slicer and finds many uses for it.
- The Betrayal
- In an episode that goes backwars Jerry, George and Elaine
travel to India for a wedding, while Kramer fears a
birthday wish.
- The Apology
- Jerry's girlfriend is a nudist. Kramer moves in to his
shower. Elaine is offended by her co-worker who considers
her dirty. George is anxious to get an apology, only to
seek treatment at Rage-oholics Anonymous (RA).
- Peggy, who considers Elaine quite dirty, once thought she
was Susie in The Susie.
- The Strike aka The Festivus
- Elaine gives out a fake phone number at a party. Kramer
learns his strike is over and returns to work. George
faces the horror of his father's made up holiday
Festivus. Jerry dates a 'two-faced' woman
- Tim Whatley is celebrating Hanukkah, showing he stuck to
his Jewish conversion in The
Yada Yada
- 'Denim Vest' gets a fake phone number from a van of
Azzari Moving and Storage, a reference to production
designer Tho. E. Azzari. This is the same company that
moved the couch Poppie peed on in The Couch.
- The Dealership
- Jerrys plans to buy a car with a good deal from Puddy
that is almost spoilt when Elaine again breaks up with
Puddy. Kramer tests a car's empty limit. George battles a
mechanic who stole his candy bar.
- George yells Twix in the same way George yelled Kahn in The Foundation and
Elaine yelled Susie in The
Susie. It is a homage to Star Trek II.
- The Reverse Peephole aka
The Man Fur
- Puddy wears a "man fur". George finds he really
enjoys a massage chair. Jerry decides to go wallet-less.
Kramer installs a reverse peephole in his door.
- The Cartoon
- Jerry becomes known as a devil due to a comedy act.
Kramer is too frank and decides not to speak. George
dates a woman who looks like Jerry. Elaine tries her hand
at drawing a cartoon for "the New Yorker".
- Sally Weaver, Susan Ross's old friend last appeared in The Doll
- Note: When repeated in the G timeslot this episode has
Kramer's suggested punch line "My wife is a
slut" is edited out
- The Strongbox
- Elaine falls for a man of mystery. Kramer places his
valuables in a strongbox. Jerry offends a neighbour.
George can't get two women to break up with him.
- Jerry uses his computer again, last time was in The Stall
- The Wizard
- Jerry buys his dad an elctronic organizer. George and the
Rosses see who will hold on the longest before they admit
they know George's secrets. Elaine is unsure wether her
boyfriend is black. Kramer retires temporarily
- Susan Ross's partents appear and they mention The Foundation.
- FDR last appeared in The Betrayal
- Kramer mentions that Bob Saccamando's father lives in
Florida.
- The Burning
- Elaine wants to know why Puddy isn't concerned she is
going to hell. George leaves on a high note. Kramer and
Mickey play sick for a medical school. Jerry wonders what
the "Tractor story" is?
- The Bookstore
- Elaine is worried about her reputation at work. Jerry
catches Uncle Leo stealing. George 'tags' a book by
taking it into the bathroom. Kramer and Newman operate a
tickshaw service in NY.
- Rebecca DeMornay, the angry woman who refuses George's
donation of a 'marked' book also refused Elaine's
donation of topless muffins in The Muffin Tops
- At the Peterman party people want to know if she is going
to dance again like she did last year in The Little Kicks
- The Frogger
- George tries to save his high score on an old video game.
Elaine is sick of office parties, but not of cake.
Jerry's girlfriend finishes his sentences so he can never
say what he wants. Kramer is concerned about a serial
killer.
- Shlomo who helps George's plot may or may not be the same
character who went on the Peterman Reality Tour but not
given a name in The Muffin
Tops
- One of the cakes if for Elaine's coworker Walter who has
appeared in many other episodes
- The Maid
- George tries to get a hip nickname at work. Jerry hires a
maid, but they start sleeping together. Kramer isn't
thrilled by a long-distance relationship. Elaine is
concerned about her new phone number.
- The Puerto Rican Day
- Jerry's car gets stuck in traffic. Elaine tries
unsuccessfully to cross a parade route. George is pursued
by a laser pen. Kramer sparks a mob when he accidently
sets fire to a flag.
- Bob and Cedric scared Kramer off before in The Soup Nazi (when they stole
Elaine's amoir) and The
Sponge (when Kramer would not wear a ribbon).
- When trying to use the bathroom of an apartment to rent,
Kramer claims to be HE Pennypacker (see The Millenium), Jerry
claims to be Karl Varnsen, and George claims to be, who
else?, Art Vandelay.
- The Finale
- Elaine calls a friend in a social faux pas. Kramer goes
to the beach. George and Jerry are told that their sitcom
"Jerry" is back on. To celebrate they all take
a trip and wind up marooned in a small town where they
are arrested for not helping a man in trouble. Their
friends and family head out of NY to be with them. Jerry,
George, Elaine and Kramer are put on trial. A succession
of surprise witnesses, each more surprisng than the last,
(in the words of Troy McClure) provide damning evidence.
- The new vice president of programming for NBC is
interested in developing Jerry and George's pilot see Series Four and The Pilot in particular
- When the plane is going down, George confesses he cheated
during The Contest
- The gang use Jackie Chiles as their defense lawyer. He
last represented Kramer in The Abstinence.
- The regular supporting characters who come to the trial
are Jerry and George's parents, Newman, Uncle Leo,
Peterman, Puddy, Mickey and Steinbrenner
