At the X-Mansion, Bishop trains alongside Gambit's team but is distracted by a hologram of Fitzroy, a distraction that could make him a liability. Afterwards Professor Xavier explains his concerns over Mystique's recent actions worried she will make another attempt on his life. In the grounds Wolverine tracks down Rogue who has lost control of her mutant power and is manifesting previously absorbed powers including Wolverine's claws, Storm's weather control abilities and Cyclops's optic blasts. Bishop absorbs the energy she is releasing allowing herself to burn herself out. As Rogue recurpirates in the infirmary she tells Professor X that during her lack of control she sense Mystique on Muir Island. Xavier finds himself unable to contact Moira due to interference. Rogue, Bishop and Wolverine go to investiagate and are greeted by an explosion. Meanwhile as Cable, Gambit, and the Beast keep watch over Kelly the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants arrive on the scene.
