Flashback: On a parallel Earth, a pirate princess named Kymri's become Captain Britain, but when her world is conquered she is enslaved and becomes Killian's hound.

Wolverine, Rogue, Phoenix, Nightcrawler and the Beast barge into the Hellfire Club's Hong Kong branch. Phoenix scans the room and finds a waitress working with the slavers. Rogue absorbs Phoenix's telepathic powers then tricks the Crimson Pirates into believing they are attack all the X-Men. It is not until one of Killian's hounds, a former member of the Captain Britain Corps named Kymri, touches her do the illusions break their hold on them, and Rogue quickly flees. In the meantime the X-Men have captured the Goth teleporter Wanderer, and the Crimson Pirates's vehicles. Elsewhere, working together Storm and Gambit are able to free themselves, the other X-Men and Archangel but they are unable to remove the slaver collars. They are caught while escaping by The Goth but Gambit suggests they cut a deal.
