While enjoying a night out Psylocke and Archangel are attacked by a group of mutant women called the Twisted Sisters. Pursued to a construction site the banks of the Hudson River they fight valiantly and are soon joined by the other X-Men, alerted to their battle by Psylocke's energy spike. The two groups battle and the X-Men are victorious. Psylocke repairs the damage to the sea wall by the construction site. They are unaware that the Sisters had targeted Psylocke, not Archangel, and that Stryfe is responsible for the attack. On Muir Island, Mystique disguised as Moira MacTaggert discovers that Cable is working with Senator Kelly. She thinks back to when she, Destiny and Wolverine had worked together, a time Wolverine has apparently forgotten. Almost found by Rhane Sinclair, she continues to look through the volumes of Destiny's prophecies in Moira's possession.
