Flashbacks: The X-Men attend Moira MacTaggert's funeral;
Charles Xavier meets Moira Kinross at College and her boyfriend Joe MacTaggert. They go on a weekend excursion during which Joe and Moira are involved in a motorbike accident. Charles senses it and rushes to their rescue;
Cecelia Reyes meets with Charles Xavier and turns down his offer to join the X-Men;
Xavier while serving in a Search and Rescue team during the Korean War learns that Moira has broken off their engagement

Rogue tells Wolverine of a note that had been left for her by Kitty Pride in case she disappeared. They follow it's instructions and find the volume of Destiny's prophecies. They are startled to find an entry in for the day's date that shows the two of them finding the volume. It also shows them Gambit sneaking in tothe prision hospital holding Mystique prisioner in an attempt to kill her, and Storm stopping them. Professor Xavier recounts his history with Moira MacTaggert while mentally supervising Cecelia and Nightcrawler training in the Danger Room. Cecelia trys to regain the control over her powers following her addiction to the drug Rave but her lack of control proves dangerous for the other X-Men. Professor X is able to talk Cecelia down and through her withdrawal symptoms.
