Jerry Seinfeld

Played by Jerry Seinfeld
Jerry is a standup comedian who lives in an apartment in New York City. His comedy routine contains alot of "did you every notice this, whats the deal?" material. He is reasonably successful and has appeared on The Tonight Show and The Late Show with David Letterman, as well as NBC's Today program. He was offered a chance to star in his own sitcom for NBC. A pilot was made and aired but a new woman took over and canned it. A few years later he was offered the chance to do the show again but certain legal matters prevented him from doing so.Jerry onstage

He dated Elaine Benes and when they stopped dating they remain close friends. His met his best friend George Constanza in high school gym class when he spared him on the ropes. His other close friend is Cosmo Kramer his next door neighbour. He has a mutual dislike for fellow neighbour Newman. Fellow comedian Kenny Bania also irritates him greatly. Jerry is also friends with baseballer Keith Hernadez, both respect eachothers' work.

His parents Morty and Helen Seinfeld live in Florida but often visit their son. Jerry has also made several visits to them. One was to give his father a cadillac he brought for him. His stubborn father wouldn't accept it though. Jerry's obnoxious Uncle Leo lives in New York but is going on about Jerry's cousin Geoffry.Jerry pondering

He has thrown out a belt that touched the floor of a men's room, he broke up with a woman after he ate nuts she had already chewed and almost went insane when a girlfriend put something of his in the toilet but wouldn't tell him what. His diet consists very much of cereal which he will eat at anytime of the day.Jerry

He doesn't let his feelings out, and when he did he became a very different person but was scared straight by George's own confessions. Jerry once met a woman who was very much like him and realised he his ideal woman was himself. He proposed to her but then decided he wasn't really interested in marrying someone so like him and broke it off. She was so much like him she felt the same way and the split when well.

For a comedian he does have a darker side.
