George Costanza

George is a short, balding, stocky man. He and Jerry have been best friends since the met in high school. He has though dated many women in relationship's that have turned sour. His longest running relationship was with his fiance Susan Ross. He rushed into an engagement with her but hegot out of it when she died. He is very tight with money. During one of the many times he was unemployed he had to move in with his parents. When he acted the opposite to his usual self he got a dream job with the New York Yankees. After losing that job he got one with Play and Go after pretending to be handicapped.

George is most comfortable when he makes up his own lies. He isn'timpressed when Jerry tells an ex-schoolmate that he is a marine biologist. When George does lie the name Art Vandelay often pops up. Sometimes George pretends to be him, sometimes he is a convienient excuse.
